The Script adalah band rock Irlandia asal Dublin. Band ini terdiri dari vokalis Danny O'Donoghue, gitaris Mark Sheehan, dan drummer Glen Power. The Script merilis album perdana bertajuk The Script pada Agustus 2008 dengan single "We Cry" , "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" , "Breakeven" , "Talk You Down" , dan terakhir "Before The Worst". Album perdana ini menempati posisi 1 di Irlandia dan UK, dan menempati posisi 64 di Billboard 200 (AS). Album kedua mereka yang bertajuk Science & Faith dengan single "For The First Time" , "Nothing" , "If You Ever Comeback" , dan "Science & Faith" diliris pada tahun 2010. Album ketiga mereka berjudul #3 dirilis pada tanggal 10 September 2012.
Musik mereka telah menjadi fitur banyak acara televisi diantaranya 90210, Ghost Whisperer, Waterloo Road, EastEnders, Made In Chelsea, dan The Vampire Diaries. Sang vokalis Danny O'Donoghue juga merupakan salah satu dari empat mentor dalam acara The Voice UK bersama Will.i.am, Tom Jones, dan Jessie J.
Pada tahun 2009, Industri Victoria's Secret memilih "The Man Who Can't be Moved" sebagai tema parade tahunannya bertajuk The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2009 sebagai sesi pembukaan dan sesi Enchanted Forest bersama Heidi Klum
Awal Kesuksesan mereka adalah ketika single mereka mencapai nomor lima belas di tangga lagu pada tahun 2008 dengan debut single "We Cry," single kedua mereka "The Man Who Cannot Be Moved" memuncak di nomor dua. Album debut mereka "The Script" ini dirilis pada 11 Agustus 2008, dan langsung meluncur ke nomor satu di iTunes, baik di Irlandia dan Inggris. Single ketiga mereka, "Breakeven," dirilis pada tanggal 10 November 2008, bertengger pada nomor 21 di chart single Inggris. Band ini kemudian merilis single dua lagi dari debut mereka: "Talk You Down" dan "Before the Worst."
Album kedua The Script ini, Sciens dan Faith, dirilis pada tanggal 13 September 2010.Album Ini mencapai nomor 1 di chart album Inggris dan chart album Irlandia. Single pertama berjudul "For the first Time" bertengger di nomor 4 di tangga lagu Inggris. Single kedua dari album ini adalah "Nothing."
Album ketiga band # 3 akan dirilis pada bulan September 2012 dengan single pertama "Hall of Fame," diambil dari album yang sudah di rilis feat will i am.Dan sekarang The Script sedang hits dengan single Six Degress Separation sebuah lagu tentang kisah nyata percintaan sang vokalis Danny O'Donoghue.
